Taichara (Barbados) Inc’s Terms of Agreement

The following conditions for use of the rental and purchase of books from Taichara (Barbados) Inc are stipulated and must be agreed to in writing:

1. Payment: All orders must be prepaid by cash or check. Returned checks are subject to a service charge for the greater of $50 or maximum amount allowed by state law. If any book is lost or damaged, you are responsible for paying the cost of replacement. You further agree that you will not lend the books that you are renting from Taichara (Barbados) Inc to individuals who are not a member of the book club

2. Rental Period: All books must be returned within twenty-one (21) days from the start date. You are responsible for the safe return of all books.
3. Copyright: Rental books are protected by copyright and are intended for individual use only. Any duplication or distribution of books by individuals, corporations, institutions or agencies without prior written permission from the copyright owner is strictly prohibited by law.
4. Late Charges: Books not returned on time will be subject to late fees (Notice of loss or damage must be made to Taichara (Barbados) Inc within the 21-day rental period to avoid accrual of additional fees.) If you have outstanding fees, you forfeit your membership rights until your account is balanced.
5. Rental Books: If you have the maximum number of rentals allowed checked out, no additional books will be loaned to you until you return one or more of the books.
6. Delivery and Return of books: The time it takes for Taichara (Barbados) Inc rentals to be delivered or returned depends on several factors e.g. Bank holidays, the availability of your selection in inventory, and the proximity of your delivery address.
7. Membership Fee: Your membership fee is non-refundable. You may cancel your Taichara (Barbados) Inc membership. No refunds will be made for Taichara (Barbados) Inc membership fees already paid.
8. Promotional Offers: From time to time, in Taichara (Barbados) Inc's sole discretion, Taichara (Barbados) Inc may offer a reduced membership fee for a specified promotional period, to first-time or other selected customers. For all promotional offers, you agree that any such reduced price is only valid for the specified promotional period, and that the regular and applicable fees will be in effect following the end of the promotional period.
9. Payment/Cancellation Policies: There will be some circumstances where we will require a deposit to reserve your place at a workshop. Deposits are refundable only if cancellation is made at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled event.

Privacy Policy

Taichara (Barbados) Inc is committed to protecting your privacy. Protecting customer privacy is part of our overall commitment to providing quality service. We do not give out your address, telephone number, unless you authorize us to do so. We also give you the opportunity to correct your personal contact information at any time. Taichara (Barbados) Inc will not distribute your telephone number, except when needed to deliver a book you ordered.

In providing registration and transactional information to Taichara (Barbados) Inc, you agree to provide true, accurate, current and correct information about yourself, and to maintain and update registration information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If Taichara (Barbados) Inc has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Taichara (Barbados) Inc has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the account.

This Agreement, together with any exhibits attached hereto, contains the complete agreement of the parties concerning the subject matter, and supercedes any prior oral or written understandings, representations, or agreements pertaining thereto which have not been incorporated herein. This Agreement shall be construed and governed by the laws of the Government of Barbados, without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions.
